Welcome Brothers and Sisters

This is the time of the falling Leaves Moon a time that we offer our Tobacco to the ancestors for bringing us to this time to celebrate our existence as native people. It is our responsibility to keep this fire going. Everyone that comes adds another piece of wood to this fire out of respect for the ancestors.

Sago to all my brothers and sisters: Autumn has always my favourite time of the year. There is something about the falling of leaves, their beautiful colours, and the cooler fresh air that seems to really invigorate a person. Somehow even the taste of the "comfort foods" seems to make a long day at work less painful with a hot meal, warm bed and a good nights sleep. Even the loss of daylight and cooler evenings doesn't seem to be so bad. I guess it is time to start padding the nest and prepare for the winter months ahead.
